Straight to the Source

Postby crashinbrn » Mon May 24, 2010 5:24 pm

is there any movement to go straight to the federal level to try to stop the bans.

i am not trying to downplay our current fight in new york. which i have sent letters and e-mails too, and we need to keep hammering them. i want to do more.

if we send letters and info to our US congressmen asking them to get the FDA to stop trying to ban e-cigs now. and maybe we wont have to fight the FDA tomorrow. the prospect of 'fighting' in each state(46 more times) is mind numbing. living in fear as to which state will be next. and if they keep the current pace (4 states a year?) that's 12 years.

Who can we write to that is OVER and ABOVE the FDA, Who does the FDA answer to?

CASAA members are encouraged to write to any and all legislative representatives & government officials that they can. hearing from their constituents is VERY important!

I've been writing letters for NY and MA. {where I live Mass.} unfortunately all you ever get back is a stupid form letter so I feel like they never read it and apparently don't care that a voter is not happy with what they aren't doing in congress. :(

I have to agree, cigarbabe, with your assessment of the (non)responses by many of our legislative 'representatives'. I suppose they may be too busy to respond to each communication, but form letters say to me, 'don't bother me with this".
