Excellent list Kate!

We might have to go through and figure how we can use some of the content without linking directly to supplier's sites. The "no-advertising" rule was one of the hard-and-fasts we put in place to keep this from being biased to any supplier or manufacturer.

I own two e-cig businesses, yet you'll never see me promoting them by name here or listing them in my CF sig file. I think that is important in getting all suppliers to be comfortable with sending their customer base to CASAA.org I've spoken with many suppliers and the main reason most don't list ECF links on their web sites is that it would be business suicide to send a current customer into a sea of other supplier's forums and advertising.

You're absolutely right Webby, I'm sorry. A no commercial activity rule is something I strongly support, I'll remove those links now. Thanks for pointing that out :)

Ok, I think I've removed all the ones that link to shops.

There are some that are run by or connected to commercial interests (Janty Club, Jane's forum, Totally Wicked Forum and the Screwdriver forum; Leaford touts discounts for affiliate rewards) I'm not sure if they should stay or go, could someone please tell me what would be best? Thanks.

I would suggest removing them. I've noticed that on these commercial forums, members mostly discuss their experiences w/ those particular products, even though other good, noncommercial info can be found as well.

Agreed, great list. One that could be made part of the resources page on the casaa.org site?
